With the resurgence of boy bands, we’re not shocked to hear Destiny’s Child will be releasing new music! Hey Clevvies, welcome back to ClevverMusic. It’s been a decade since Destiny’s Child last full-length album ‘Destiny Fulfilled’, and ringleader Mathew Knowles AKA Beyoncé’s Dad, has just announced the trio will release new material!
The girl group comprised of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams will put out previously unreleased songs on two upcoming albums! Beyoncé’s Dad told The Huffington Post, “We still have our joint venture with Sony, and in November, we’re putting out two Destiny’s Child catalog records with new material.”
In addition to the new jams, Mathew spoke about the possibility of a Destiny’s Child reunion tour within the next five years, after the second of the two albums drops. Of course, it would have to work out with the singer’s solo schedules, annnd they would have to want to do it. But Mathew revealed that’s not the hardest part, “The hardest thing would be choosing which songs they’re going to do, because we would want to mix it up with solo hits and Destiny’s Child hits.”
We’re excited at the prospect of Destiny reuniting, and we HOPE they keep #1’s on the set list such as “Say My Name,” and “Bill, Bills, Bills”! Tell us what you think of the gals getting back together, and if you’ll be picking up their new albums when they hit stores? Be sure to subscribe to ClevverMusic for more daily music news. See you soon.
