Katy Perry took the stage to perform at ‘Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular’ televised event in New York City this Independence Day! Katy celebrated with fans by singing her hit ‘Firework,’ as well as ‘Part of Me’ complete with real fireworks on stage.
The performance was held at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for a live audience filled with servicemen and women. Of course, Katy donned a patriotic American flag dress to go with a long purple ponytail! Her backup crew dressed as naval officers and camouflaged cadets.
The 27-year-old singer tweeted on the 4th of July saying, “Just touched down on AMERICAN soil… appropriately timed! #Americangirl #thetompettyone.”
